Hi I’m Nigel
I’ve been a filmmaker and photographer for over a decade, and honestly, I still feel lucky that this is what I get to do for a living. Weddings are such incredible days to be part of. Full of joy, nerves, energy, laughter and all those little in-between moments that really tell the story. That’s what Love on Film is built around: capturing weddings in a way that feels natural, relaxed and true to how the day actually felt.
We take a calm documentary approach, blending into the background and letting real moments unfold naturally rather than constantly directing or interrupting the day. The focus is always on preserving the atmosphere, emotion and little details that make your wedding uniquely yours.
Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to photograph and film weddings of all shapes and sizes, meeting incredible couples from different cultures and backgrounds and being welcomed in to document such an important part of their lives. That connection is still one of my favourite parts of the job.
Most couples tell us they barely notice the cameras on the day, and that is exactly how we want it to feel. Relaxed, easy and completely centred around you enjoying the moment with the people you love most.
While I still lead the creative direction of Love on Film, weddings often involve a small trusted team working alongside me to make sure everything is captured seamlessly. Whether it’s an intimate town hall ceremony or a full-day celebration with photography and film coverage, the experience always stays calm, unobtrusive and personal.

The process is designed to feel simple and stress-free from start to finish.
We’ll start with a chat to hear more about your plans, answer any questions and make sure we’re the right fit for each other. Once your date is secured, we’ll stay in touch throughout the planning process with guidance, timeline support and clear communication so everything feels easy and organised leading up to the wedding.
On the day itself, you can relax knowing everything is taken care of. We’ll quietly capture the big emotional moments, the atmosphere and all the little moments you might not even realise are happening around you.
At the end of it all, you’ll have photos and films that take you right back to how it felt. The laughter, the nerves, the movement, the people and the energy of the day exactly as you remember it.
